Child EQ Development Certificate Program - Auburn University

This program aims to prepare adult learners to become confident in practicing on the Child EQ Development Certificate Program curriculum developed by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education at Auburn University. This play-based curriculum is designed to facilitate children’s emotional intelligence development while engaging them in fun activities. After completing the certificate program, the adult learners are expected to equip practical teaching skills using the teaching materials and tools for the curriculum as well as to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of socio-emotional education, especially, for young children. All lessons will be delivered in Korean

Program Details

Two courses will open in Fall 2021. Each course is a 12-week course with 3 hours of instruction per week. The courses begin on the 4th week of August and end the 2nd week of November.

  • Day Course:
    • When: September 1 – November 17, 2021
    • Meets: Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time)
    • Location: Online (via Zoom)

  • Evening Course:
    • When: August 29 – November 14, 2021
    • Meets: Sundays, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM (Central Standard Time)
    • Location: Online (via Zoom)

Workshop Overview

This workshop is going to teach the parents about children's emotional intelligence development by using Feelings Pocket play tools. These tools will be introduced to guide the parents (teachers) to develop the Child EQ while engaging children in fun activities. This workshop will be conducted online using Zoom.
