Roads and Trails

Over 50 miles of dirt forest roads are accessible at the Dixon Center, most of which are passable in good weather and dry quickly after rains. Four walking trails exist on the property that are used for dendrology instruction, but expose visitors to a variety of different site conditions and habitats. Trail and road maps are available from the main office. Access to some areas may be limited during State hunting seasons as the property is leased for hunting access.
