Taiwan Center: Events and Programs

The AU-NCKU Taiwan Center of Chinese Language and Culture hosts various events and programs for Auburn students, faculty, staff and the community throughout the year. The topics typically covered include arts, culture, education, history, languages and tourism. Below is the fall 2023 list of events and programs.

  • Taiwan Dialogue Series

    • September 14 from 12-2 p.m. in Student Center 2222-2223: Taiwan between Beijing and Washington featuring Dr. Lawrence Grinter
    • October 16 from 12-1 p.m., in Student Center 2222-2223: All Made in Taiwan, History of the Taiwanese Semiconductor Industry featuring Eric Au
    • October 17 from 12-1 p.m. in Student Center 2107: Advancing Global Partnerships with Taiwan's ICT, 5G and AI Industry featuring Simon Su and Nana Chen
  • Moon Festival/Chuseok

    • September 22 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in Student Center 2222-2223
  • Culture Workshop

    • September 28 from 12-1 p.m. in Foy 209: Relaxation for Smartphone Overuse Symptoms – Demonstration of Chinese Massage and Acupressure featuring Professor Fan-Hao Chou
