Title: Applications of nonautonomous and random dynamical systems in the applied sciences

Abstract: In this talk I will introduce several mathematical models for different applications in biology, ecology, and chemical engineering. The common character of these models lies in that the forcing depends on time, and thus gives rise to a nonautonomous dynamical system or random dynamical system. Basic techniques to analyze and simulate such systems will be introduced.
