Science Cafe
Time: Nov 15, 2016 (06:30 PM)
Location: Mama Mocha's

With increasing industrialization, concerns about climate change, and big water contamination stories like the Flint water crisis in the media, it’s more important than ever to be conscientious about the waters that feed our community. But how much do you really know about the streams and rivers giving life to your hometown? Join us for this Science Café to learn how you can answer that question yourself by becoming a citizen scientist for your community. We’ll learn how to use available technology to test water and answer all your questions, including why you should care about the waters around us!
