The Arboretum is available to rent for university functions and to the general public for private events. Anyone wishing to use the Arboretum should fill out an event request form. Please send an email to arbinfo@auburn.edu or call 334-844-5770 if you have any questions about event rentals.

AU Davis Arboretum Rental Rates

All reservations require a completed reservation request form, and advance approval from the Campus Event Planning System https://cws.auburn.edu/ceps/  and a non-refundable $150 minimum deposit. Please include setup and cleanup in your event’s time frame. The Arboretum is a public facility.  Reservations do not include exclusion of Arboretum patrons from any given area.

$50 donation appreciated for unreserved events lasting less than 2 hours.

Events lasting 2 hours or more require a reservation.

Arboretum North

$650 full event fee includes reservation for single day use of Garden Drive Pavilion (power, restrooms, fans) lawn, pier (power) and the rest of the Arboretum grounds (power and fans in outdoor classroom)

$300 large event fee includes reservation for 3-4 hour use of Garden Drive Pavilion (power, restrooms) lawn, and pier (power)

$250 event fee includes reservation for 2 hour use of Garden Drive Pavilion (power, restrooms) lawn, and pier (power)

Discounts

Discounts may be applied to one event per month. Both discounts cannot be applied to a single event.

AU Student/Employee Discount:  $25

AU Student Organization Discount $75

Additional Rentals:

Chairs $2.00 each (max 100)

Tables (does not include linens) $8.00 each

Line marking fee for tent $100.00

Trash Containers:  $20.00 per 50 guests for events with disposable cups, plates, or dinnerware

Recycling containers: Free

Game Day Tailgate Rental 

Basic Tailgate Package:  $800/ season - Price includes a 20’x20’ reserved space in a prime area of the Arboretum and includes 1 parking spot/ tailgate space rented for each home game.  Tents and tables are not provided. Spaces are limited.

Council Ring Package:  $400/game - Price includes the reservation of the Council Ring as tailgate spot and includes 1 parking spot.  Drop off area and access to power are available for this location.  Tents and tables are not provided. 

Pitcher Plant Pavilion Package: $500/game- Price includes the reservation of the Pitcher Plant Pavilion area in the central area of the arboretum with access to an immediate drop off location, power, water fountains,and  a covered roof with ceiling fans. Includes 1 parking spot. Tents and tables are not provided. 

Garden Drive Pavilion Package: $700/game- Price includes the reservation of the Pavilion area.  The finest of our rental options, with immediate access to power, water fountains, ceiling fans and bathrooms.  This is a steal of a deal for the ultimate tailgating experience on campus. Includes 1 parking spot. Tables and chairs are included in this rental

**The Davis Arboretum is a living museum with many collections of rare and endangered plants.  We reserve the right to expel any tailgater that we feel may be harming, trampling or disturbing any displays within our collection.

***The rolling of trees and shrubs within the Arboretum is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.  Anyone caught rolling trees will be immediately removed from the premises and the tailgate rights of the offenders will be revoked.
