DMS Associate Professor Luke Oeding (PI) received $40K from the NSF to organize the Conference on Tensor Invariants in Geometry and Complexity Theory

Dr. Luke Oeding (PI) has just received $40K from the National Science Foundation to organize the Conference on Tensor Invariants in Geometry and Complexity Theory, which will be held at Auburn University, May 13-17, 2024. Evolutionary ecologist works on 15-year international research collaboration with insight into the impact of density-dependence on populations

Ronald D. Bassar, an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, is part of a team of five researchers whose work, Population Regulation and Density-Dependent Demography in the Trinidadian Guppy, was published in the journal, The American Naturalist.

COSAM research scientist uses $400K NSF award to study the origins of elements in the universe

Steven Bromley, principal research scientist in Auburn University’s Department of Physics, is a co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) on an award, Collaborative Research: Electron Impact Ionization and Recombination Properties of Heavy elements in Kilonovae, from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for $379,797. He is working with Stuart Loch, the PI of the award and alumni professor in the Department of Physics, Michael Fogle, a Co-PI and the Howard Earl and Carolyn Taylor Carr Professor, and Phillip Stancil, professor at the University of Georgia, Athens (UGA).
