Bioinformatics Bootcamp

The College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM) will sponsor the annual Bioinformatics Bootcamp at Auburn University in 2021. 

Instructed by Ken Halanych, Laurie Stevison, Rita Graze, Jamie Oaks, Les Goertzen and Xu Wang from the Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University.

The Bootcamp is a week long workshop emphasizing hands-on training in numerous aspects of next generation DNA sequencing data analyses such as sequence assessment and quality control, genomic and transcriptomic assembly, annotation, differential expression, phylogenomics and more.  Additionally the workshop provides instruction in the Linux operating system command-line environment, basic scripting and many widely used open-source software packages. Registration for the workshop (see schedule) is $600.
