Director of Statistical Consulting position open

 

Auburn University invites applications for the non-tenure track faculty position of the Director of Statistical Consulting. The successful applicant will be hired as an Associate Research Professor. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Statistics, and we seek Statistical consulting or postdoctoral experience. Duties include: management and development of a newly formed center of Statistical Consulting at Auburn University, including supervision of graduate student consultants; collaboration with faculty across the entire campus in grant and contract proposal writing leading to subsequent statistical analysis and publication; provision of statistical advice and reports for on-campus clients; and teaching of graduate courses including the Statistics Practicum. This is a 12-month, full-time position; salary is commensurate with academic and statistical consulting experience.
