Browns donate $2 million to COSAM to set up the Rosemary Kopel Brown Chair in Mathematics

Auburn alums John and Rosemary Brown donate $2 million to COSAM to set up the Rosemary Kopel Brown Endowed Eminent Scholar Chair in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. A search committee has been formed for this new position. The goal of the inaugural appointment is to recruit a new eminent faculty member in one of the foundational areas of mathematics to Auburn University.

In addition, the Browns have funded the John W. and Rosemary K. Brown Annual Scholarship - Sciences and Mathematics and the John W. and Rosemary K. Brown Annual Scholarship - Engineering.
