Workshop attendees traveling to Auburn by air will find it most convenient to use Hartsfield International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia. One can either arrange to rent a car there or take a scheduled shuttle bus for which you must reserve a place at least 24 hours in advance. The shuttle takes you directly to the Hotel and Conference Center, and also returns to the airport from there. When making your travel arrangements, please note that the Atlanta airport is in a different time zone than Auburn (11 AM in Atlanta is 10 AM in Auburn). The workshop secretary will make reservations for the shuttle if requested by e-mail or on the registration form; please consult the shuttle website to select the appropriate shuttle departure time.
Driving Directions:From the Atlanta Airport, take I-85 south toward Montgomery, AL. After crossing into Alabama, take Exit 51 (2nd Auburn exit) and drive north (to the right) on S. College St., also US 29. You will pass through a commercial strip, then go past an art museum resembling an airport control tower on your right. After crossing Samford Ave. and Roosevelt Drive at traffic lights, you will see the hotel on your right. The main entrance is about 500 ft. north of the intersection of US 29 and Roosevelt Dr.
