Drones, Fish and Waterfalls - Dr. Jon Armbruster

What if you were dumped off in a remote jungle in Guyana and only had a few days to conduct a biological survey? How do you know where to go? What is important? What is the larger context of the organisms you discover? And what does conservation mean for species in a place no one may ever travel to again? Join us at Drones, Fish, and Waterfalls for the answers and a powerful new look at uncharted lands.

Join us each month for a night of science, good drinks, tasty sweets, and great conversations! At the AU Science Cafe, you'll have the opportunity to sit down and talk about new and exciting science and technology with scientists in our community, all the while relaxing in a great local food and drink venue.

The event is FREE and open to all of the public. No science background is required, and no question is too silly to ask!

This 60 minute event generally occurs the last Tuesday of each month. Click Here to see our schedule for our next speaker and further details. For any other questions, or if you are interested in being a Science Cafe speaker, please contact Josh King at josh.king@auburn.edu or 334-734-1182.
