Title: Various Jacobian matrix criteria for non-singularity of algebraic surfaces
Abstract: I'll compare affine, projective, and my multi-homogeneous versions of the Jacobian matrix criterion for non-singularity of algebraic surfaces. Then I'll suggest an alternative of using local criteria on a set of presentations rather than a global criterion on one presentation.
I'll use a basic function field example throughout:
