Give to COSAM

A message from the Dean

As the College of Sciences and Mathematics celebrates its fifteenth anniversary this year, our mission remains steadfast:  teaching, research, outreach and service.  To you who have made these past fifteen years possible, I would like to share some of our successes:

» Juan Carmona, a COSAM student, was named to the USA Today 2003 All-Academic team, first team.

» Almost 50% of the May 2004 COSAM graduates graduated with honors

» Leslie McCall, a COSAM student, was named to the USA Today 2004 All-Academic team, honorable mention

» COSAM has a higher percentage of its students in the Honors College than does any other College(8.1%).

» The average ACT/SAT score for incoming freshmen students in COSAM is greater than the all-University average   (COSAM 25.3) (University 24.4).

» The high school GPA for new COSAM freshmen is the highest on campus (3.70).

To What Do We Credit the Success of the Students?

Our students' success happens in a value-added environment supportive of educational, emotional, and social growth, made possible largely through the generous annual support of our alumni and friends.  This support has provided for scholarships, quality faculty, and state-of-the-art instructional technology, as well as new facilities.

Where Do We Need Your Help?

The leadership of committed alumni and friends through financial assistance is crucial if we are to continue on our path of excellence.

Become a catalyst for future success by pledging today.  We truly appreciate your interest in the College of Sciences and Mathematics and look forward to hearing from you.

Stewart W. Schneller
