The Vinery

The Henry P. Orr Vinery, dedicated on Sept. 25, 1983, is a popular place for weddings, picnicking, sun bathing and reading.  It is in the southern end of the Arboretum.

It is home to more than a dozen species of native vines including, but not limited to,
blackfringe knotweed (Polygonum cilinode), peppervine (Amelopsis arborea), American groundnut (Apios Americana) and pipevine (Aristolochia tomentosa).
