Education
Education is the basis the arboretum was founded upon. Our main
function is to hold a collection of Alabama’s native trees
so that others may learn the species, their communities and
the ways they are connected. By making these specimens
available to people of all ages we become an asset not only
to our local community, but to the world community.
Our staff is educated in many disciplines and we are
available to provide programs to groups
at no charge. We only ask that you call ahead and schedule your
visit.
