For Family and Guests with Special Needs

Commencement in the stadium:

Guests are asked to park in the stadium parking deck and enter through Gates 8, 7, 6, 5 giving you access to the stands. From Gate 8, you can take the ramp down to Gate 9 to enter the field. Or enter through Gate 9 to access the field only. There are no elevators available in this section of the stadium. Scooters are permitted in the stadium.

Commencement in the arena:

Guests with special needs may access designated areas located around the perimeter on the concourse level of the arena. Due to limited seating, only one person can accompany a guest who is located in this section.

The most convenient way to access this section is through the Arena Scholarship Entrance. This entrance provides elevator access to the concourse level. The parking lot directly leading to the Scholarship Entrance on the east side of the Auburn Arena is reserved for accessible parking on graduation day. A mobility-impaired hangtag or license plate must be present to access this parking lot. Entrances to this parking lot are located on Donahue Drive and Heisman Drive.

We encourage anyone with mobility or health issues to arrive early. Seating is available on a first-come, first, serve basis. If you use a wheelchair, cart, or other specialized equipment, please bring it with you.

A sign language interpreter is located on stage for every ceremony. Closed captioning is provided on the video board and floor monitors. Assistive Listening Devices are available from the First Aid Station located in the main concourse area.

Guests that need a program in an alternate format or have a question about accommodations should contact the Office of the Registrar at 334-844-5783 and select option 5 for the graduation area.
