Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony Information for Guests

Thank you for registering for Auburn University's commencement emails. The following information was shared with all spring 2026 graduates. Meet Your Spring 2026 Commencement Speakers Continuing its long-standing tradition of inviting prominent alumni and industry leaders to deliver the commencement address, Auburn will proudly welcome five speakers to address more than 5,400 spring graduates during the university’s eight commencement ceremonies, scheduled for May 1 through May 4 in Neville Arena.  Read About the Spring Speakers Regalia Orders Cap and Gown: The final deadline for cap and gown orders is Monday, March 30. Orders placed after this date will have a $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability. Early cap and gown orders (placed before March 2) are available for pickup March 23 – 27 at the Auburn University Bookstore. All other cap and gown orders are available for pickup April 27 – May 4 at the Auburn University Bookstore. A receipt or photo ID (Digital Tiger ID is acceptable) is required for pickup. Cords: Honor cords are distributed during regalia pick up based on information from the Registrar’s Office. For eligibility questions, contact otrgrad@auburn.edu. Orange and Blue commemorative cords are given to all graduates attending commencement ceremonies at Neville Arena. Only academic cords and stoles officially approved by the Graduation Committee and the Commencement Office are permitted. Ticketing Spring ceremony ticket reservations have closed. All waitlist ticket requests are determined via lottery and graduates will be notified on March 30. For guests without tickets, a standby line is available. Entry via the standby line is subject to availability and opens approximately 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The Village Dining Hall will be open for guests without tickets to watch the ceremony livestream. Clear Bag Policy A clear bag policy is strictly enforced.  Bags that exceed 4.5" x 6.5" or clear bags that exceed 12" x 6" x 12" are not permitted. Exceptions to the clear bag policy include medical bags (containing only essential items), diaper bags (must be accompanied by an infant), and bags that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5". Other items not allowed inside Neville Arena include camera bags, cameras with lenses over 4", open food and beverages (sealed water bottles are permitted), posters, fatheads, shakers, balloons, and pocketknives. A full list of prohibited items is available on the commencement website. Guests may check prohibited items for a $5 fee or return them to their vehicles. Ceremony Photography All graduates have official photos taken as they cross the stage and receive their copy of the Auburn Creed. Photos are taken by GradImages and are available for purchase. Graduates and guests can register with GradImages prior to the ceremonies to receive a 20% discount on orders. Photos are available within one week following commencement. Travel and Parking Driving directions and a detailed parking map are available on the commencement website.
