OIP Providing Free Transportation to Workshop on EU Research Funding

Mississippi State University will hold a one-day workshop on research funding from the European Union Monday, Nov. 6, and the Office of International Programs will provide van transportation for those who wish to attend.

Registration for the workshop, “Reaching the Horizon: Addressing the Opportunities and Impacts of the EU’s Horizon 2020 Programme,” can be found here. The Horizon2020 program is the European Commission’s premiere global collaborative research initiative. Experts from the European Commission, the National Council of University Research Administrators and other institutions will discuss the framework of Horizon 2020 and resources for funding and collaborative opportunities.

The van will depart Sunday, Nov. 5. Attendees are responsible for their own hotel and registration expenses. Overnight lodging is available at the workshop hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott at the Mill Conference Center. Call 662-338-3116 for reservations. The van will return to Auburn at the conclusion of the workshop on Nov. 6.
