Abby Bell, a graduate student in Auburn University’s College of Nursing, was recognized recently at the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Celebration Service in Birmingham, Ala., marking the culmination of a year dedicated to service, leadership, and advancing health equity. Bell, a member of the 2025–2026 class of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship of Alabama, has focused her fellowship project on improving maternal and infant health outcomes through culturally responsive breastfeeding education and support.
