King Sejong Institute to Hold Korean Artwork Contest

The Auburn-Keimyung Korea Center and King Sejong Institute will hold an artwork competition in celebration of Hangeul Day, the official day of the Korean alphabet. Students may register for the contest Sept. 11-22 by visiting the King Sejong Institute in Foy Hall to receive their official contest entry paper. Submitted artwork must incorporate the entrant's name written in Korean and may be rendered in the 2D medium of the artist's choosing.

The King Sejong Institute staff will hold free workshops Sept. 13 and 20 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. to teach entrants how to write their name in Korean.

All entries must be submitted by Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. Winners will have their work displayed in Foy Hall in October in addition to other prizes.
