Climate Change Communication through Art Talk with
Dr. Mika Tosca
 is a climate scientist, a humanist, an activist. She is an Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Her current research and public outreach explores the the synthesis of art and climate science and posits that engaging with artists, designers, and makers is instrumental to solving the climate crisis. Auburn's NSF Research Traineeship on Climate Resilience, Office of Sustainability and the department of Geosciences is excited to have any interested students, faculty or community members hear Dr. Tosca's experience and perspective of climate change through art at this free, in-person event.
