Spring 2013 Advising Schedule

Come see us early and save yourself a long wait.  We have set aside the following hours exclusively for unblocking.  We DO NOT take appointments for unblocking.  Please make every effort to be unblocked before your scheduled registration time.  If you do not, you are unlikely to get your classes.  We’ll be happy to see you about anything else at other times.

This office will not unblock you if you have 60+ hours. You must declare a major and see a faculty advisor.

Please have your Registration Worksheet filled out COMPLETELY.  No exceptions! 

Choose one of the following options to get unblocked for registration.

1.  ADVISING BLITZ 

Monday, Oct. 8 & Tuesday, Oct. 9 

8:30-11:30 and 1:30-4:30

After the blitz, we will only have 2 advisors in the office for most of the remaining unblocking time.  Please take advantage of the blitz when 3 advisors make lines move faster!

2.  Regular Advising Hours

October 15-October 29

Mondays: 2:00-3:30

Tues – Thurs:  8:30-11:00 & 2:00-3:30

3.  Express Lane:  [during regular advising hours & not available to new freshmen]

If your form is filled out completely and you don’t have questions, you may turn in your form to a peer advisor and be unblocked without a private advising session.  If you choose this option, your form will NOT be carefully reviewed.  Any registration mistakes are your sole responsibility. Make sure you have planned well, know the pre-reqs, and have consulted the long range schedules online for semester or time conflicts.

Who is your advisor?  Advisors are assigned by your last name.

GROUP Advising Schedule

STUDENTS WHO PREVIOUSLY WERE UNBLOCKED BY DR. WIT WILL NOW SEE DR. DUTE.

Dr. Dute will be having group advising ONLY.    This will take place on the dates and times listed below in 115 SCC. Please have your Registration Worksheet filled out completely.  No exceptions. 

If you cannot attend any of these days and times make Dr. Dute aware of this on the front end.
