: Take charge of every aspect of your college experience. It’s all yours and, ultimately, you are the only one who can make it work. That means study hard, know the rules, talk to your professors (and me), meet people who enjoy the same things you do, eat well, sleep and get some exercise, and HAVE FUN!

Spanish food because I grew up close to Ybor City in Tampa. I also love Italian cooking; occasionally, a really good cheeseburger, and chocolate.
Family: 
Husband, John.  We have three grown sons and six grandchildren.  Two of our sons graduated from Auburn and one from the University of Florida.
Interests: 
Reading good books, spending time with family, the beach, walking, and painting.
Favorite TV show:
 I like NCIS and The Good Wife.
Best Advice: 
Take advantage of all Auburn has to offer. Don't be afraid to get outside your comfort zone. This is a unique time in your life to explore your interests and make new friends.

Best Advice Given to Me:  Every person you meet, every single one, is looking for their story.  There are no exceptions.  You become part of it by how you treat them.

Best Auburn Memory: Beating Alabama in the 2013 Iron Bowl, 34-28, when Chris Davis made the 109-yard return from Bama’s missed field goal (I cried when we won, and then joined the rest of the stadium on the field to celebrate).
Best Advice: Study more than a week in advance for a test, get to know your professors, join an organization, and step outside your comfort zone.  Soak up every minute and every second of your college career… it flies by WAY faster than you think!
