The AU-CMB program will fund between 4 to 6 doctoral graduate assistantships for the 2014 - 2015 academic year. These positions can be available for students to begin Fall Semester 2014. The assistantships carry a stipend of $22,500 for the first year and a University Peak of Excellence graduate research fellowship to cover tuition. The intent of the CMB graduate assistantship is to recruit outstanding students to begin doctoral study in this university program. Deadline for receipt of applications is February 1st.
This program of study toward the Ph.D. degree is complimented by required laboratory rotations in which students spend time learning advanced laboratory skills and identifying research opportunities in disciplines of specific interest to them. Our goal is to develop a program of graduate study and research experience for each student that is tailored to his or her career goals and complementary to our research directions
