DMS congratulates Drs. Overtoun Jenda and Peter Johnson on the renewal of their NSF REU Site Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Algebra and Discrete Mathematics at Auburn University. This grant of ~$288K will support the REU program from 2024 to 2027, continuing a project that started in 1999. This REU program has been a key factor in attracting talented PhD students to our department. Keep an eye out for Pete's emails inviting you to participate in this year's activities.
