Tiger Giving Day 2023
Help COSAM make a difference this Tiger Giving Day with your support! Give to our projects that can help students gain hands-on experience with a vital piece of chemistry equipment, help COSAM develop a Career Fair, or help make the Auburn University Community Garden accessible for everyone in our community!

Have you ever had something crucial to your productivity that consistently failed or didn’t work properly? Well, here in COSAM, our students can sympathize with you.

The Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) instrument used by undergraduate students in upper level chemistry labs is a vital piece of equipment in their learning process. Unfortunately, the current one is extremely unreliable and is no longer supported by the manufacturer.

We are asking for your help to raise $15,000 towards purchasing a new FTIR instrument. This necessary piece of equipment is vital in helping prepare our students.

COSAM needs your help! With the college’s first-ever career development manager and a newly formed Career Services office, we want to provide COSAM students the help and assistance they need and deserve to navigate their professional journey into the workforce.

By supporting professional development resources for students and helping the college host its first-ever career fairs, you are making an investment in the future doctors, chemists, mathematicians, biologists, geologists and physicists who will shape tomorrow.

We all know that college is a formative time in your life where you truly discover your passions and ambitions for your career. In COSAM, we strive to give our students the exposure to as many career and networking opportunities as possible while they research, learn and discover their path to making a difference.

Help us reach our $10,000 goal to host future COSAM career fairs and prepare our students as they set out to change the world!

The AU Community Garden is a treasure that has served our community in its same location for more than 40 years, but it cannot be used by students and families with disabilities and accessibility challenges. This Tiger Giving Day project will provide the resources to immediately change that.

Our Tiger Giving Day goal is to radically change the accessibility for the AU Community Garden. This project will allow for the installation of two ADA-accessible gardens, as well as easy-to-use parking spots, paved walkways and adaptable tools. Signage advertising the garden and the new accessibility beds will be prominently displayed.

Make the AU Garden Accessible for All
