Ivan Glotov is a senior majoring in biomedical sciences on a Pre-PA track with minors in Spanish and psychology.

Ivan is currently involved in the Pediatric Movement Lab in the School of Kinesiology with Melissa Pangelinan. The lab works with the Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama with children and adults who have disabilities. Ivan’s research in the lab primarily focuses on how this specific population enjoys, responds well to and improves with certain types of physical activity.

Ivan is currently in his third year of involvement with Camp Kesem at Auburn and serves as co-director. He was also involved in SGA as a director of academic affairs and was t-shirt chair for his fraternity.

This is Ivan’s fourth semester as a COSAM learning assistant. He spent one semester with Haruka Wada in BIOL 2510 and three semesters with Min Zhong in BIOL 1020.

When describing what he enjoys best about being an undergraduate learning assistant, Ivan said, “I love being a learning assistant because it gives me a new chance to explain information to students and gain a deeper understanding of it myself. It keeps me on my toes in my other classes!”

Ivan is currently applying to physician assistant, or PA, programs and hopes to begin in 2023 following graduation from Auburn.
