How does your immune system work? Could we live in completely sterile environments?

Join Kate Buckley from the Department of Biological Sciences to learn more at this fun and informative Science Pub.

“I will discuss how your immune system sorts out the very few bacteria from the mostly good bacteria it encounters,” Buckley said. “Since this is very complex, I’ll also introduce how scientists use different animals as experimental models to make breakthroughs that improve human health.”
