“I wanted to provide an opportunity for COSAM faculty and staff to openly ask questions and share feedback,” said Dean Edward Thomas Jr. “It is important for us to offer a platform where faculty and staff can learn more about the progress our college is making and talk about their concerns.”

For the College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM), the STEM + Ag Complex is an exciting new construction project transitioning from programming information to the design phase. The new complex will include the Department of Biological Sciences, the Department of Geosciences and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Dean Thomas also discussed current operations, upcoming faculty searches, promotion and tenure process and search for the Chair of Department of Biological Sciences.

More than 80 people participated in the Zoom event on Tuesday, August 24 at 4 p.m.
