Evangelos Miliordos wins Spring 2021 OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award

Evangelos Miliordos, James E. Land Endowed assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has been selected as an OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award managed by the Computers in Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society.

"This Department has given me the opportunity to make an impact and I am excited for the opportunity to present my work,” Miliordos explained.  

Miliordos will present his research at an upcoming fall National Meeting of the American Chemical Society.

Miliordos is one of four researchers selected for this award this spring. Each winner will receive $1,000 in addition to increasing the visibility of their research within the chemistry community.
