NSF renews funding for the US-Africa Collaborative Research Network
Great news! The NSF has renewed the funding for the US-Africa Collaborative Research Network in Mathematical Sciences for another three years and the amount is $250,000. The PI team is
* Overtoun Jenda (AU, PI)
* Pete Johnson (AU, Co-PI)
* Suzanne Lenhart (U. Tennessee, Co-PI)
* Ash Abebe (AU, Co-PI)
* Paul Horn (U. Denver, Co-PI)
One of the activities of this is the Masamu Advanced Study Institute (MASI). This was originally scheduled to be held in November, 2020 in Maputo, Mozambique. It will now be held virtually due to COVID-19. It is planned to have face-to-face next year in Mozambique.
