Katie Brown is the program coordinator for Auburn's NRT project on climate resilience. Brown has an extensive background in event planning and logistics. Her role at the university also encompasses offering conference support to grant funded events within the College of Science and Math under the ADR office initiative. She received a degree in Hotel Restaurant and Tourism Administration with a Business Management Minor from the University of New Orleans after studying there and at Auburn University. She received the designation certified meeting professional (CMP) while working as a senior convention manager in Orlando, FL.

Sabrina De Los Santos is a researcher for TERC, the NRT project's outside evaluator. She assists in the project's surveys, interviews and evaluation. In addition to this NRT, she works on several STEM research and evaluation projects engaging middle school students in rural settings, Latino families with children in preschool, and pK-12 teachers. She draws on her background in psychology, public health and education technology to design and evaluate learning experiences in both formal and informal environments. She holds an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Psychology, Boston University.
