Scientists are keenly aware of the high costs of state-of-the-art research.  We gratefully
acknowledge the generous support of the following agencies who have supported AUSSL:
NASA, Department of Energy (DoE), NSF, the AU Center for Space Power and Advanced
Electronics, the AU Office of Vice President for Research, and many corporate friends and
sponsors.

Currently AUSSL has over $7 million dollars in research equipment, in large part through
donations from national laboratory and corporate research laboratories.

Locally, AUSSL collaborates with the Alabama Microelectronics Science and Technology
Center (AMSTC), the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, the Chemistry
Department, the Materials Science Department, the Mechanical Engineering Department,
and the Center for Space Power and Advanced Electronics at Auburn..

In addition, AUSSL is a central point of activity for our recent National Science Foundation
(NSF) funded Center for Advanced Vehicle Electronics (
CAVE), an Industry-University
Cooperative Research Center (IU/CRC) dedicated to finding solutions to a wide range of
board-level and packaging problems common to harsh environment and vehicle industry.
