More regional or localized music genres can be found such Carribaean and traditional Hawaiian music. Those that reflect the country and cultural heritage are placed in the World Music category.

Latin. Latin music is rapidly gaining in popularity. Bolero, Cuban, Flamenco, Mambo, Mariachi, Merengue, Salsa, Samba, Tango, and Tejano are some of the popular Latin styles. The Gipsy Kings are a popular Latin group.
Singers such as Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias are Latin stars that have become mainstream artists.
Other popular style such as reggae and cajun are often found in the world music section.
