How do I apply?

Students must apply both to Southern Union State Community College in addition to applying specifically to the Path to the Plains program. Applicants may be asked to complete an interview if selected. Once accepted, students are asked to submit information to Auburn University also. Students are admitted to both institutions and are required to attend orientation sessions on both campuses.

How much does P2P cost?

Tuition and fees are assessed based on Southern Union’s tuition and fee structure. During the concurrent enrollment terms, students completing courses at Auburn are assessed Southern Union tuition rates.

How does course registration work?

Students will register for courses through the regular registration processes at Southern Union and must meet with a program advisor to ensure proper placement in classes. Students are registered in their Auburn courses by the Auburn University Path to the Plains liaison.
