Description: Undergraduate student researchers will assist with ongoing research projects that generally address upper airway physiology (voice, swallowing, breathing disorders) from the perspective of muscle physiology, bioenergetics, acoustic, aerodynamic, and endoscopic imaging. Student researchers will be expected to learn citation software (Endnote) and conduct data management via Excel. Research ethics and HIPAA training will be components of this experience. Singing or acting voice experiences are particularly helpful for this position.

Majors Considered: Biomedical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science
