Description: The lab research focuses on interactions between biomechanical, sensorimotor, and neurocognitive systems in the control of gait and lower extremity function. We research the following populations: Older adults (65+), Adults with movement disorders, Injured and uninjured athletes, and Healthy young adults (age 19-35). A. Update, innovate, or maintain previously written MATLAB code. B. Create a living document of troubleshooting errors and solutions OR explanations of those issues within any scripts developed. C. Write/add to MATLAB GUI’s that are related to: Signal processing, Real time data analysis, Real time control of instrumentation, Principal Component Analysis, Independent Component Analysis, and Non-negative matrix factorization. D. Work with integrated force plates, instrumented treadmill, electromyography, inertial sensors, and motion capture systems.
Proficient in MATLAB, Statics and Dynamics, Kinematics and Dynamics of Machines, and Computer-Aided Engineering
