College of Engineering - Civil and Environmental Engineering Department

College of Engineering - Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is seeking researchers to help  with electrochemical water treatment to remove metals and organic pollutants. This project requires some knowledge in general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and organic chemistry. The undergraduate researcher will work with a graduate student to develop an electrochemical system to remove pollutants from the aquatic environment. Working hours are flexible and can be up to 8 hours per week. All activities will be in a wet chemistry lab located at Gavin Engineering Research Lab.

Majors Considered: Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry

Position will be filled anytime from Fall 2023 to Summer 2025

Paid - $15-20 per hour
