Double Major

Students may choose to major in two subjects, i.e., to complete a double major.  All of the requirements and electives for one major must be completed along with all the requirements (courses shown in bold in the Undergraduate Bulletin) for the second.  While courses required for the second major may be used either to meet requirements or as electives for the first, there must be at least 20 hours that are different between the two majors.  For help in creating a plan of study for a double major with one of those being in physics, please come to the Department of Physics Office (Leach Science Center, Suite 2158) or contact your academic advisor.
