Insured enrollees may purchase optional dental & vision coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of AL at an additional cost. To enroll in dental and/or vision coverage at any time, visit the auburn.mycare26.com website and select the dental & vision plans button. This will direct users to the BCBS website where enrollment and payment information can be entered. Students can pay monthly, quarterly, or annually directly to BCBS. Payment through the student's eBill is not available for dental and vision coverage.
Enrollment options are also available on student's existing auburn.mycare26.com account, the mobile app, and the website. For assistance with these plans, please contact the phone number listed on the website, as the AU Insurance Office does not manage dental or vision insurance plans.
If you elect the vision insurance coverage, this will be attached to your medical insurance card once you enroll, so there is no additional vision insurance card. If you elect dental insurance coverage, you will receive a separate card for dental insurance.
