CAREing Paws

CAREing Paws allows Auburn’s nursing students to learn about animal-assisted therapy through classroom teaching and hands-on clinical experiences. Students experience how animal-assisted therapy can benefit the lives of children with chronic illnesses, adults in nursing homes and medical centers, and individuals diagnosed with mental health issues.

CAREing Paws is active on the Auburn University campus including its health clinic, in the Auburn/Opelika community, and East Alabama Health.

Please contact the program director for additional information and scheduling!
