All summer graduates must attend the Friday, August 5th University Commencement to receive your name card for the Saturday ceremonies.

University Commencement
Friday, August 5th
Neville Arena
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
( Graduates must arrive by 4:00 p.m. )
- All graduates must attend the University Commencement on Friday. As you enter the ceremony, you will pick up your name card. Name cards are required for photos and for the college ceremonies on Saturday.
- Graduates should arrive no later than 4:00 pm and enter through the student entrance Arena doors.
- Upon entry, all graduates will receive a commemorative AU cord and be seated.
- The ceremony will include a keynote address, conferral of degrees, recognition of students graduating with honors, and the introduction of student graduation marshals.
- Families and guests are welcome to attend the University Commencement; doors open at 3:00 p.m.
- Graduates may only bring a cellphone; no bags are permitted in the arena, exceptions for medical issues.
- Regalia is required (see below for information on ordering regalia from the AU Bookstore).
College and School Ceremonies
Saturday, August 6th
Neville Arena
8:00 a.m. - TBD
- All undergraduate college and Graduate School ceremonies will be held in the Neville Arena, with the first ceremony beginning at 8 a.m.
- Graduates must enter through the Student Entrance Arena doors at designated times below (see the ceremony schedule times below).
- Ceremonies will begin with remarks by the dean, and all graduates will process across the stage and receive a copy of the Auburn Creed.
- Name cards are required to display your name and hand it to the announcer.
