Ticket Information
  • University-issued tickets are required to participate in commencement.
  • Only students registered to graduate this semester can reserve tickets. 
  • If your student does not reserve tickets by the deadline, they will not be able to participate in the commencement ceremony.
  • Fall ticket reservations open Monday, October 5, and close Friday, November 13.
  • Students must reserve a ticket for themselves and may reserve up to eight guest tickets.
  • Students and guests will receive an email the morning of October 5 with detailed reservation instructions. 
  • Selling tickets is prohibited. Graduates found selling tickets will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and will have all tickets revoked.

Graduation Regalia (Cap and Gown) 
  • Regalia orders are NOW OPEN and may be purchased online through the Auburn University Bookstore.
  • Official university regalia is required to participate in commencement ceremonies. 
  • Early regalia orders can be picked up October 28-30.
  • To pick up regalia the week before commencement (December 7-12), orders must be placed by Monday, November 2.
  • Honor cords are distributed during regalia pick up based on information from the Registrar's Office. Contact otrgrad@auburn.edu for questions. 
  • Please review the regalia policies and guidelines on the commencement website.
  • For additional regalia questions, please contact the Auburn University Bookstore.
