Below are action steps to take to be prepared for academic advising at Camp War Eagle along with helpful resources.
Prepare Now:
- Download the Advise & Assist "Navigate 360" app
- Review the New Student Modules in Canvas
- Complete your Camp War Eagle Pre-Advising Form
- Take the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment if you do not already have college math credit
- Request any AP/IB scores to be sent directly to Auburn University
- AP scores must be sent electronically from the College Board using Auburn University code 1005
- IB transcripts can be ordered from the International Baccalaureate site
- It is normal to not have your scores by your CWE session. In this case, your academic advisors will help you make the best plan based on your major and potential scores during your advising and registration time at CWE.
- Review the AP/IB credit tables to learn what credit can be earned based on your scores
- Request transcripts for any dual enrollment credit be sent to Auburn from the institution you took the credit through, not your high school transcript
- Complete the required Medical Information & Immunization Form on Med+Proctor
- Verify your cell number is labeled as cell number on your record to receive text communication reminders
- To verify this, log into AU Access, find the card named Academic Portals. Click the Personal Information link to view and edit your phone number. If you do not have your cell number listed as a cell phone number, click Add New and enter your number as a Cell Phone type.
- Set up your Auburn email on your phone to make it easily accessible and begin checking it regularly
- If you had academic accommodations in high school, we strongly suggest you review the information on the Office of Accessibility webpage.
