The Burkhart Laboratory is an active component of Auburn University's Department of Psychology.  Broad interests include assessment and treatment of problems resulting from violence and victimization.  Recent research attention has been focused towards forensic samples including both juvenile and adult offenders.  With large state contracts for the assessment and treatment of juvenile sexual offenders, numerous research and clinical opportunities are available for students.
