Directions to the Physics Department from the Atlanta Airport

1. Leave airport parking to Interstate 85 - South (to Montgomery).
2. Take I-85 to the Georgia-Alabama border (70 miles).
3. Continue south until you get to I-85 Exit 51 (Auburn, AL) -it is approximately 30 miles from the state line to Exit 51.
4. Bear right on the exit and head onto College Street (US-29 North).
5. Travel along College Street for about 5 miles (in the left lane) until you reach Samford Avenue.
6. Take a left turn at the light onto Samford Avenue.
7. Travel for approximately 1/2 mile along Samford to the first stop light - at the intersection of Samford Avenue and Duncan Drive.
8. Take a right onto Duncan Drive and head down the hill.
9. There is a parking lot at the bottom of the hillside with 4 rows of parking. The physics building - Allison Laboratory - is adjacent to this parking lot.
10. The main Physics Department office is Room 206 - Allison Laboratory.

Directions to the Physics Department from the Birmingham Airport

1. Follow signs to the airport exit. Get on to I-20, West (heading to Birmingham).
2. Travel 4 to 5 miles until you get to Interstate 65. Take the exit to I-65 South to Montgomery.
3. You'll drive about 80 miles South on I-65 into Montgomery, then take the exit to I-85 North (Atlanta).
4. The Auburn exit is Exit 51 on I-85.
5. There is a light at the top of the exit ramp, turn left at the light and head onto College Street (US-29 North).
6. Travel along College Street for about 5 miles (in the left lane) until you reach Samford Avenue
7. Take a left turn at the light onto Samford Avenue.
