Auburn Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship

Award: $2,000 for one year

Eligibility: First-year or transfer students with a parent/guardian who is a fully paid life member of the Auburn Alumni Association by February 1; 3.0 GPA minimum; cannot have previously received a scholarship equal to or greater than resident tuition.

Golden Eagles Annual Scholarship

Award: $1,000 for one year

Eligibility: First-year or transfer students with a parent/guardian who is a fully paid life member of the Auburn Alumni Association1 by February 1 and demonstrated financial need (FAFSA required); 3.0 GPA. First-year students must also have a 25–29 ACT score or an equivalent SAT score.

1Life Membership in the Auburn Alumni Association is open to any individual who believes in Auburn University and wants to play a meaningful role in advancing its mission. Life Members do not have to be graduates or alumni—membership is open to all who wish to support Auburn and enhance the student experience through philanthropic giving.
Student Alumni Ambassador Endowed Scholarship

Eligibility: Current students in the Student Alumni Ambassadors with a minimum cumulative, unadjusted 3.5+ Auburn GPA; preference for students with financial need (FAFSA required).
Auburn Club Scholarships

Funded through local alumni clubs across the country
- Students with a parent/guardian who is a fully paid life member of the Auburn Alumni Association1 by February 1 may receive priority consideration for some Auburn Club scholarships

External scholarships are awarded by employers, companies, foundations, and other organizations independent of Auburn University. Criteria vary and may include academics, financial need, affiliations, or unique qualifications. Students should not have to pay for a scholarship search or to apply for a scholarship, though they may have to “register” with an email address. Students are encouraged to pursue as many external scholarships as possible.

Enrollment & Academic Verification
Some donors require proof of enrollment or academic standing. Students should contact the Office of the Registrar at (334) 844-4770 or visit the Registrar’s website to request enrollment verification or official transcripts.
Payment Instructions
Preferred payment methods: ACH, E-Check, or credit card. Donors should contact the scholarship specialist to set up payment accounts. Funds received electronically are typically credited within 3 business days.

Payment & Renewal

Students must enroll in at least 12 credit hours by the 15th class day each term
- To renew, students must earn 24 Auburn credit hours between fall and spring and maintain a minimum cumulative, unadjusted 3.0 AU GPA

Funds are credited to the university billing account and split between fall and spring

Scholarships may be used for professional or ABM programs if a first undergraduate degree is not yet completed

Early graduates are not eligible to receive unused funds

Students unable to enroll during an expected term should contact Financial Aid and Scholarships via email at scholar@auburn.edu. Exceptions may be granted for medical resignation, military withdrawal, or the Cooperative Education Program. However, this may result in an adjustment in renewal criteria.
