Medical laboratory science event helps provide important blood typing information

On Nov. 27, students in the Medical Laboratory Science program in COSAM offered a free blood typing event in the Sciences Center Laboratory building.

 

“The goal of this even is to raise the awareness of the Medical Laboratory Science profession and give these students hands-on experience,” said Brittni Sloan, COSAM’s Clinical Laboratory Science Director.

Share this tornado resiliency research project

Auburn University’s Department of Geosciences is taking part in a research project that intends to improve tornado resilience for mobile and manufactured homes. The purpose of the study is to learn more about the perceptions of mobile/manufactured homeowners when it comes to using anchoring systems designed for high winds.
