Xavier Streety

Dean's Medal: Chemistry and Biochemistry

Xavier Streety will graduate summa cum laude as an Honors Scholar with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry.

During his time at Auburn, Xavier has been heavily involved in undergraduate research. He spent two years working in Chemistry and Biochemistry Assistant Professor Monika Raj’s lab developing novel chemistry for the modification of peptides, and one year working in the lab of Biological Sciences Assistant Professor Adriana Avila-Flores studying the properties of peptide-based nanoparticles. From this work, Xavier has been third author on a published paper, with more in progress.
